A Bit About Fool's Gold
Fool’s Gold is more of an independent little dude. He’s not overly people-driven and doesn’t always feel the need to check in or stick close like some of his siblings do. He’s totally fine being around people, but he’s not the puppy who naturally runs over for attention — he’s more of a “do my own thing” type.
When it comes to handling, he can get a bit stiff and unsure, especially with being picked up or held. He doesn’t panic, but you can tell it’s not his favorite. With slow introductions and positive experiences, he’ll get more comfortable, but he’s not naturally a floppy, relaxed pup during handling right now.
Motivation-wise, he’s pretty low-key. He isn’t super driven to work for a person or follow along closely, and he’ll often wander off to explore on his own. He’s definitely more self-directed than people-pleasing at this stage.

Best fit:
A family that enjoys a more independent, chill, low-maintenance type of dog. Someone who doesn’t need a velcro puppy and is patient with building up confidence around grooming and handling. He’ll thrive in a quieter, steady environment where he can settle in at his own pace.
