A Bit About Tiller

Tiller is a sweet, people-oriented boy with a calm, easygoing personality. From the start of his evaluation, he happily engaged with the tester with a wagging tail and clearly enjoyed the interaction. Human connection comes naturally to him, and he genuinely loves affection. While new surroundings made him pause for a moment, he found confidence through his relationship with the tester and was eager to stay engaged throughout the evaluation.

Tiller is the type of puppy who likes to think before he acts. When faced with unfamiliar obstacles, he approached them with a little hesitation, but once he received encouragement and guidance, he worked through them successfully. Rather than avoiding challenges, he trusted his person and kept trying. That willingness to lean on his handler while learning new things is a wonderful quality that often develops into a very responsive and trainable adult dog.

His overall energy level is on the calmer side, making him an easy puppy to spend time with. He isn’t constantly looking for excitement, but he does enjoy interacting with people and is motivated to work when given positive encouragement. He balances his gentle personality with a nice desire to engage, creating a puppy that feels both affectionate and cooperative.

Best Fit for Tiller

Tiller would thrive in a family looking for a calm, loyal companion who enjoys being close to his people. He would do especially well with owners who use positive reinforcement and are willing to encourage him through new experiences while allowing his confidence to continue growing. His thoughtful nature, love of affection, and strong human focus would make him an excellent fit for first-time dog owners, families with children, or anyone wanting a devoted companion that enjoys learning alongside them.

May Not be the Best Fit for Tiller

Tiller may not be the ideal match for someone looking for an extremely bold, independent puppy who charges into every new situation without hesitation. He prefers to build confidence with the reassurance of his person and may initially look for guidance when faced with something unfamiliar. Families who are patient and enjoy building that partnership with their dog will likely see him blossom into an incredibly confident and dependable companion.
