A Bit About Mulch
Mulch is a sweet, thoughtful girl who approaches new people with a polite and friendly demeanor. She enjoys interacting with both people and toys, happily engaging in a game of chase with the tester’s hand before settling into the evaluation. While she doesn’t rush headfirst into every new challenge, she stays engaged and willing to participate, showing a puppy that is eager to learn and wants to do the right thing.

One of Mulch’s defining qualities is her perseverance. When presented with something unfamiliar, she may hesitate for a moment as she works through it, but she doesn’t give up. Instead, she continues trying until she figures it out. She appears to be more thoughtful than fearful, taking a little extra time to process new situations before moving forward. That willingness to keep trying, even when she’s unsure, is a trait I really appreciate because it often builds into wonderful confidence as puppies mature.

Best Fit for Mulch

She has the motivation and resilience to grow into a very dependable companion, and I think she’d do especially well with families who enjoy training, outdoor adventures, and including their dog in everyday life.
May Not be the Best Fit for Mulch
Mulch may not be the ideal fit for someone looking for an extremely bold, “jump in first and think later” type of puppy. She likes a moment to process new situations and may initially question herself before realizing she can do it. Families who are patient and willing to encourage her through those moments will likely see her confidence blossom, while homes expecting instant confidence in every new situation may overlook what is actually one of her greatest strengths, her willingness to keep trying until she succeeds.
