A Bit About Prune
Prune is a sweet, happy girl who naturally gravitates toward people. She approached the tester right away with a wagging tail and plenty of kisses, showing that building a connection with her human is more rewarding to her than chasing toys or entertaining herself. She has a gentle, polite personality and clearly enjoys affection, making her an easy puppy to fall in love with.

Throughout the evaluation, Prune consistently looked to the tester for reassurance and preferred staying close rather than venturing too far away. She interacted well with the neutral helper dog and seemed to gain confidence from having familiar support nearby. While she wasn’t the first puppy to jump into every challenge, she willingly worked through new experiences and showed a calm, steady willingness to learn. She has a softer, more thoughtful temperament and responds well to patient guidance.

Prune has a moderate energy level and a very relaxed, easygoing personality. She’s playful when the moment is right but doesn’t feel driven to be constantly on the go. Instead, she prefers meaningful interaction with her people and has a calm, gentle presence that makes her a wonderful companion. As her confidence grows, her happy personality shines even brighter.
Best Fit for Prune
Prune would thrive in a family looking for a sweet, affectionate companion that enjoys being close to her people. She would do especially well in a home where someone is around much of the day or where she’ll be included in everyday life. Her gentle nature, love of human connection, and calm demeanor would also make her a wonderful fit for a quieter household or someone looking for a loyal best friend rather than a high-drive adventure buddy.
May Not be the Best Fit for Prune
Prune may not be the ideal choice for someone looking for a very independent, highly driven puppy that’s eager to tackle every challenge without encouragement. She prefers to build confidence through her relationship with her person and may need a little extra reassurance when facing something unfamiliar. With patient, positive training, she’s likely to develop into an incredibly devoted, loving companion whose greatest joy is simply being with her family.
