A Bit About Shrub

Shrub is a confident, outgoing girl who jumps into life with a happy attitude and a wagging tail. She noticed the tester right away and eagerly approached to say hello, immediately seeking interaction and inviting play. She has a naturally social personality and clearly enjoys being with people, making quick, genuine connections without hesitation.

One of Shrub’s standout qualities is how motivated she is to work alongside her human. She happily engaged in play with both the tester and toys, but consistently chose to reconnect with her person. She navigated new challenges with confidence, moved through obstacles with ease, and showed excellent resilience throughout the evaluation. Even when something new was presented, she recovered quickly and approached it with curiosity rather than concern.

Shrub also has a wonderfully affectionate side. While she’s playful and energetic, she melts right into the tester’s arms when held and enjoys close human interaction just as much as adventure. She has a nice balance of enthusiasm and the ability to settle, giving her a fun personality without feeling overwhelming. Overall, she’s a confident, people-oriented puppy with an eagerness to learn and a genuine desire to be part of whatever her family is doing.

Best Fit for Shrub

Shrub would thrive in an active family looking for a puppy that’s ready to jump into daily life alongside them. She would do well with children, another friendly dog, or an owner interested in training, dog sports, or simply having a companion that enjoys participating in everything. Her confidence, work ethic, and love for people would also make her a great candidate for therapy work or other activities where a stable, social temperament is important.

May Not be the Best Fit for Shrub

Shrub may not be the ideal match for someone looking for a very independent or low-engagement puppy. She truly enjoys interacting with her people and likes being involved, so she’ll be happiest in a home that wants an affectionate companion rather than a dog that’s content entertaining herself all day. With consistent training and plenty of opportunities to use both her mind and body, she’s likely to become an incredibly well-rounded, loyal family dog.
