Wait List & Reservation Fee
Step 1
Apply Online
Start by filling out the Puppy Application! Completion of the Puppy Application does not guarantee that you will be approved or commit you to anything yet. It is only the first step to initiate a conversation with us and tell us a bit about yourself and what you have in mind for your future pup!
Step 2
Receive Approval
Wait to hear back from us via email about your application status. We typically respond within 2-3 business days. We'll respond with your approval or refusal. We reserve the right to deny anyone at any time if we feel that they're not the right fit for one of our puppies.
Step 3
Submit a Reservation Fee
If you have been approved, congratulations! You're one step closer to bringing home your very own Country Lane companion! Your next step is to officially reserve your spot on our list by submitting a NONREFUNDABLE $500 reservation fee! Payments may be made through Venmo. Paypal or credit card are also accepted for an additional 3% fee. We have a separate wait list for each size Bernedoodle that we offer, and those lists are ranked by reservation fee submit date. When you submit your payment, you will be added to the bottom of the list. Your reservation fee will go towards the final puppy price.
If you can't decide between the different sizes that we offer, you may reserve a place on more than one list if you wish. To do so, a separate reservation fee for the additional list must be submitted.
*Should you choose to forfeit your reservation fee at any time, you will be removed from the list. Your submitted reservation fee/place on the waitlist cannot be transferred to a friend or family member.
**Country Lane Bernedoodles reserves to right to reserve pick(s) of the litter at any time from any litter for the preservation of our breeding program.
Step 4
Wait
Now comes the hardest part of all... WAITING! I often get asked "How soon can I expect my puppy?" and I really wish I could answer that for everyone! Although we may have a general idea of the litters that will be bred throughout the year, there are several things that we just can't predict until a litter has arrived such as litter size, gender ratio, color/markings, and coat types available. Those factors all play a part in which wait list families will be interested in a given litter. Keep in mind that each family has an idea of what they're looking for in their future companion, just as you do. For that reason, our wait list is ever changing. Each family has the flexibility to remain on the wait list for as long as they need to find the right fit. Nobody is locked into a specific litter. Occasionally, families that are ahead of you in rank may pass on a current litter and choose to wait for a future litter. If enough families do this, you may have the chance to get a puppy from that current litter. In the event that you decide to go with that current litter, and don't find what you're looking for, you will get back on the wait list in order of your reservation fee submit date.

Typically, families who are more flexible when it comes to their preferences for their future puppy's gender, color/markings, coat type, preferred take home timing etc. will often find their match and bring a puppy home more quickly than someone with a longer list of criteria. If you are a person with specific preferences when it comes to these things, that is great, too, just know that you may experience a longer wait time to find your exact match! Every family is different, and that's okay!
