A Bit About Bunker
Bunker is a sweet, affectionate boy who is very people-oriented and naturally looks to his person for reassurance. He was a little thrown off by the unfamiliar surroundings at first and had some frantic energy as he tried to figure things out. Rather than becoming avoidant, though, he immediately leaned into the tester for comfort and connection. He climbed up quickly, sought out cuddles, and was happiest when he could stay close to his person.
Bunker showed a very strong human focus and desire for connection throughout the evaluation. Once he had established that the tester was a safe place, he stayed close and remained very underfoot. He clearly finds security in being near his person and is likely to form a strong bond with his family. His tendency to seek reassurance is paired with a willingness to engage, rather than shutting down when something feels unfamiliar.
Despite his initial uncertainty, Bunker showed good resilience and physical confidence when it came to the challenges of the test. He went over the obstacles with ease and did not allow his uncertainty to prevent him from completing what was asked of him. His profile suggests a puppy who may need a little emotional reassurance when entering a new environment, but once he has that support, he is able to move forward and tackle the challenge.
