A Bit About Caddie

Caddie is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-focused girl. She immediately approached the tester and showed a strong desire for human connection, with a constantly wagging tail and a very loving demeanor. Her human focus is one of her biggest strengths, she truly wants to be with her person and seems happiest when she has that connection.

She was a little unsure of the new surroundings and showed some whininess, but she didn’t let that uncertainty stop her. She stayed close to the tester, looked to them for reassurance, and bravely completed everything that was asked of her. Her willingness to trust her person and work through something unfamiliar was a really positive quality.

Caddie absolutely melts into being held and is happiest when she’s getting affection. She has that special kind of temperament where her person becomes her whole world. She would happily crawl under your skin if she could! ❤️

Best Fit for Caddie

Caddie would be an excellent fit for a family looking for a devoted, affectionate, people-oriented companion. She would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of interaction, affection, and inclusion in everyday family life. Her eagerness to follow her person and willingness to work through new experiences with reassurance make her a wonderful candidate for a family wanting a true velcro dog who wants to be by their side. She would likely do especially well with someone who enjoys having their dog involved in everything.

May Not be the Best Fit for Caddie

Caddie may not be the best match for a home looking for a highly independent or extremely self-assured puppy who is completely unfazed by new environments from the start. She does show some uncertainty in unfamiliar surroundings and may look to her person for reassurance. A family who expects a puppy to immediately confidently navigate every new situation without support may find her softer nature less ideal. She’ll do best with patient guidance and encouragement as she builds confidence.
