A Bit About South

South is a sweet, thoughtful little guy who really enjoys being close to his people. He shows medium confidence, motivation, and resiliency, which comes across as a puppy who is comfortable exploring but also checks back in for reassurance. He’s happy to interact, willing to try new things, and generally moves through new experiences at his own steady pace. He handles touch well and is easy to work with.

His lower energy tends to come from him taking a little extra time to process new environments or experiences. As his confidence grows and he becomes more comfortable, we expect to see more engagement and play come out. South is more sensitive to sights and sounds, so he tends to notice changes in his environment quicker than some. He has a lower prey drive and is more likely to stay close rather than go looking for trouble. He has a nice human focus and really values connection, and his higher tenderheartedness means he’s a softer, more emotionally aware puppy.
