A Bit About Thumb

Thumb is a very people-oriented puppy who immediately approached the test person with a wagging tail and friendly attitude. He naturally gravitates toward human interaction and tends to stay close by, often positioning himself right underfoot. His affectionate nature and eagerness to connect make him a very engaging and social little guy who clearly enjoys being around his people.

During the evaluation, Thumb confidently explored the testing area and easily moved over obstacles. He showed playful curiosity while checking out his surroundings but remained very connected to the person in the room. When picked up and held, he settled in nicely and handled the interaction calmly, demonstrating a good comfort level with handling and human contact.

Thumb also showed a nice ability to switch between activity and calmness. He has slightly more excitable energy in his movements compared to some of his littermates, giving him a happy, upbeat presence. Overall, he comes across as a cheerful, confident, and friendly puppy who enjoys both playtime and close companionship.

Best Fit for Thumb

Thumb would likely thrive in a home that enjoys an interactive and affectionate dog who wants to be involved in daily life. A family who appreciates a puppy that likes to stay close, participate in activities, and receive plenty of attention will likely find him to be a wonderful companion.

May Not be the Best Fit for Thumb

He may be a slightly less ideal fit for a home looking for a very independent puppy or one that prefers a dog who is comfortable spending long periods entertaining themselves. Because Thumb tends to be a bit more clingy and occasionally whinier than some of his siblings outside of the evaluation, he will likely do best with owners who enjoy a dog that prefers to stay close to their people.
